Our Journey Forward

From a small development team with big dreams to Thailand's emerging force in mobile gaming. Here's the story of how we've grown, learned, and adapted through every challenge.

2018

The Beginning: A Garage and Three Dreamers

It started with Ravi Thanakit and two university friends cramped in a converted garage space in Nakhon Ratchasima. We'd spend eighteen-hour days coding, surviving on instant noodles and terrible coffee. Our first mobile game took eight months to build – way longer than we'd planned – but watching those first hundred downloads come in felt like winning the lottery.

The early days were rough. We pitched our game concept to twelve different publishers and got rejected by eleven. That one 'maybe' kept us going for another six months until we finally secured our first development contract worth 150,000 baht. Not enough to quit our day jobs, but enough to believe this might actually work.

Growing Pains and Hard Lessons

By 2022, we'd moved into a proper office and expanded to seven team members. Success felt within reach until we took on a project that nearly broke us. A major client wanted a complex multiplayer racing game in just four months – an impossible timeline we foolishly accepted because we needed the revenue.

The project ran eight months over deadline. We lost two talented developers who burned out from the pressure. I remember sitting in our empty office at 2 AM, wondering if we should just call it quits. But our remaining team rallied together, and we learned invaluable lessons about project scoping, client communication, and sustainable development practices that still guide us today.

Today: Stronger, Smarter, More Focused

Now in our seventh year, Nextsmartfusion operates with a lean team of five specialists who know each other's strengths inside out. We've learned to say no to projects that don't align with our capabilities, and yes to partnerships that challenge us in the right ways. Our current focus centers on mobile gaming experiences that work seamlessly across different devices and player skill levels.

What excites us most about 2025 is launching our developer training program this September. We want to share the practical knowledge we've gained through years of trial and error. The program will cover real-world mobile development challenges – not just theory, but the kind of problem-solving skills you only learn by shipping actual products to actual users.
